Staging is the outcome of creative residential stay of THEATRE ON THE PLATFORM in Tabačka Kulturfabrik and was created in co-production with this independent culture center.

The project was supported by Ministry of culture of Slovak Republic in the programme European capital of culture 2013 – Košice

JAN KOMÁREK
Director, light designer and photographer. He studied promotional graphics on Prague’s UMPRUM. He worked as an abecedarian in puppet theatre Drak in Hradec Králové after which he had left for France where he founded company MIMO THEATRE. In year 1985, he moved to Canada, where he founded SOUND IMAGE THEATRE – autheur and motion theatre which produced over 20 original stagings. As sound designer he has worked for a number of dance and theatre companies in Toronto and Montreal. He was awarded several prestigious awards, eg. Dora Mavor moore for directing, light design and music. In year 2001 he came back to Prague where he works mostly with alternative scene. Jan was awarded Divadelní osobnost 2008 (Theatre persona 2008) which is presented by Next wave festival.
